Equipment
Sampsa has an array of bass instruments, bass amps and bass effects equipment at the ready to meet all of your touring or project needs.
Among his personal favorites are his 1994 Ken Smith BSR 5-string bass guitar. Sampsa loves this instrument and is able to really make it sing. Other basses are available as well, depending on demand.
For bass guitar effects, Sampsa uses BOSS GT-6B Bass Guitar Effects Processor as well as numerous plug-ins and software.
For bass guitar tracking, he uses the Cubase 4 primarily in addition to Pro Tools and analog depending on the project.
For pre-amps, Sampsa selects from a variety of brands available depending on the specific project requirements.
